Know Your Employers

Recruiters and industry professionals from firms visit campus to talk about their work and career opportunities in fields related to business, finance, marketing, analytics, and more. Come to get a head start on your internship/job search or come ready to apply for positions (recruitment is usually in the fall semester).

Business Networking Summit (well-known as “Econ Day”)

A trip to Chicago in February for students and faculty to network with alumni and for students to get career advice or hear about internship/job opportunities from alumni.

The Endowed Internship Awards and Academic Travel Awards

Funding is available to support students as they pursue high-impact internships and academic activities beyond the classroom. We give up to 6 summer internship awards each year ($3,000 each award).

A market research and consulting firm that conducts high-quality research and analysis for real clients in the non-profit and for-profit world

Center for Entrepreneurship and Liberal Education at Beloit (CELEB)

Brian Morello leads a session at CELEB. The Center for Entrepreneurship and Liberal Education at Beloit supports students who want to start their own ventures in the for-profit or non-profit world. 

The space includes an entrepreneurship lab, a student-run public art gallery, a TV & media lab, a recording studio, a Maker Lab.

The center is also home to a student-managed philanthropic foundation as well as a student-run market research and consulting firm.

The Beloit Executive-in-Residence program offers personalized, professional development opportunities for Beloit College students.

The Beloit Executive-in-Residence is an alumnus/a with significant business experience. As current or former senior leaders in organizations, Beloit Executives-in-Residence know firsthand what it takes to reach the top ranks in the business world.

They are entrepreneurs who have launched successful startups and have grown new businesses. They are business experts who can help take students from the classroom, to the city, to the world.

Investment Club

The Beloit Investment Club serves as an opportunity for students interested in financial markets to learn through practical experience.

Women in Economics and Business Club

The club’s mission is to encourage and support women pursuing careers and higher education in Economics and Business. In addressing women’s challenges in male-dominated fields, WEB emphasizes the importance of confidence and self-assurance, striving to empower women, and ensuring that their voices are heard and welcomed.
